About the role:
As our newest Registered Nurse (RN) within the Hospital in The Home (HITH) program, you’ll care for acutely unwell patients who would otherwise require a hospital bed. Your clinical scope will include IV antibiotics and antifungals, complex wound management, post-operative drains and monitoring, palliative care, and more. You’ll also play a key role in our busy hospital-based Infusion Ward, delivering treatments that treat inflammatory conditions/ auto-immune diseases and iron infusions. You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager as well as the wider, multidisciplinary HITH team. The team itself is close-knit, highly skilled, and proud of the difference we make in our community. Essential criteria:
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Accredited (or willing to immediately become accredited) in cannulation & CVAD management
- Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster (including weekends and public holidays)
