Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Montessori training for 6-12 age groups? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team at Canberra Montessori School. As a Montessori Trained Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our students.
This position is open to both Australian & International applicants, sponsorship will be available for the right candidate.
Position: Montessori Trained Teacher (AMI Certification)
Age Groups: 6-12.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Implementation:
Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans that foster holistic development in students.
2. Classroom Management:
Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and collaboration among students.
3. Individualized Instruction:
Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each child, promoting a love for learning.
4. Observation and Assessment:
Conduct regular observations and assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
5. Parental Communication:
Maintain open and transparent communication with parents, providing updates on students' academic and social development.
6. Professional Development:
Stay abreast of Montessori education best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- IELTS Band Score 7
- Montessori training for 6-12 age groups
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
Please note the applicant should be eligible for TQI registration ACT.
Sponsorship will be available for the right candidate (must have Band Score of 8 or above in speaking & listening and reading & writing).
Salary Range:
Competitive annual salary between $86,000 to $107,000 AUD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
