About the Role
Favourhill Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to support a participant based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
This role focuses on building companionship, encouraging independence, and supporting community participation. We're looking for someone who enjoys building genuine connections and providing person-centred support that empowers participants to achieve their goals.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Female (participant preference)
- Mature (30+ years preferred)
- Calm, patient, compassionate, and reliable
- Professional with excellent communication skills
- Experienced in supporting participants with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and/or mental health conditions (preferred)
- Passionate about promoting independence and community inclusion
Availability
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- First Aid & CPR (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
