About the Role
This role is under general supervision coordinates and is responsible for coordinating and oversees cementing service line operations at well site; with focus on managing more complex, hazardous and or high-profile task while delivering a high-quality service to the customers.
This position will be fly in fly out based at Jandakot, WA
Key Responsibilities
· Sets-up and operates assigned Cement PSL equipment related to monitoring and acquiring job data and for accurate mixing of cement slurries in the performance of a cementing job
· Maintain effective communicates with Customer on location concerning pre-job and on-going progress, soliciting pertinent service work information, sharing knowledge of cement blends, mixing and blending processes, and casing sales equipment with the customer, connecting customer to HES contacts to provide expertise on specific products, processes, or services when necessary, negotiating with customers on invoicing issues and service irregularities within approved limits
· Performs pre-job calculations related to: pipe capacities and volume/height math, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, including total water requirements for job, hydrostatic and differential pressure, resulting forces, balanced plugs, bulk cement blending, weighted spacers, calculations may include liquid additives as applicable, pressure to reverse, determine burst and collapse
· Supervises and ensure the efficient professional delivery of products and services while fostering positive customer relations at the well-site and demonstrating a customer service focus to ensure good job results.
· Supervises, coordinates, and educates service operators and operator assistants in the proper performance of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork/reports, in the operation of cement pumping and mixing equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, Opticem RT, Real time transmission, ADC systems, bulk cement blending, delivery, and storage systems, manifold equipment, and cementing plug releasing tools, and during rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment on work locations to include spotting of cement storage vessels, pre-mixing of spacer fluids, identifying additives to be mixed on-the-fly, rigging-up appropriate data monitoring equipment, planning emergency backup equipment and contingencies.
· Executes job activities in accordance with Health and Safety Management System (HMS) and manage the handling transportation, and stores materials utilized at the job site in accordance with company, regulatory, and Customer standards
Role Requirements
· Ability to communicate with team and customer
· Understand and demonstrate proficiency in the operation and maintenance of each type of equipment/ unit/tools
· Have 2+ years of previous experience
· Diploma or similar education
· Advance knowledge of cement products and services
· Able to work a physically active, hands-on role
