The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on either a permanent part-time or full-time basis (30–38 hours per week).
This role is available across 4–5 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a shared Saturday roster (8:30 am – 1:00 pm). Weekday shifts are either 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
As a Veterinary Nurse at West Brunswick Veterinary Clinic, you'll play an integral role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with consultations and nurse consults

Surgical and anaesthetic nursing

Patient admissions, treatments and hospital care

Assisting with diagnostic procedures and medical workups

Client education and communication

Providing outstanding customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
About You
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
To be successful, you will have:

A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Approximately 3–5 years' experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse

Strong surgical, anaesthetic, treatment and hospital nursing skills

A sound understanding of veterinary nursing procedures and patient care

Experience across all areas of general practice, including reception, surgical nursing, orthopaedics and inpatient care

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues

A compassionate, patient-focused approach and genuine commitment to animal welfare

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
