At IdealCorp, we do things a little differently. We're leading the charge in geotechnical services and screw piling, and we're growing... FAST!! That means we need people who actually give a f**k about the work they do, the crew they're with, and the job they're delivering.
This isn't a tap-on, tap-off role. It's a permanent position with a tight crew, real hours, and real money for the right operator.
So what's the gig?
We're after an experienced HR Driver / Screw Pile Installer who can handle themselves on a construction site. You'll be based out of our Smithfield yard, delivering & installing screwpiles to construction projects across Sydney and along the east coast! Jumping in wherever the job needs you; behind the wheel, on the machine, or on the tools!
What you'll be doing
- Driving HR/MR vehicles to and from construction sites across Greater Sydney
- Assisting with and performing screw pile installation works
- Operating or assisting around excavators and auger drives
- Working to set-out points and reading site drawings when required
- General installation support and labouring
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment and attachments
- Long site days and overtime; it's part of the deal, and we pay for it!
The kind of person we're after
- HR licence with experience on Sydney roads.
- Excavator ticket or machine experience - preferred
- Background in civil, construction, piling or foundations work - preferred
- Mechanically minded and practical
- Can read site plans and work to set-out points - big advantage!
- Early starts and heaps of overtime on offer
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a good fit for a crew that backs each other
What we're paying
We pay based on what you bring:
Entry / developing operator $32–$34/hr + super
Experienced excavator / construction installer $35–$37/hr + super
Strong screw piling or multi-skilled operator $38–$40/hr + super
Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour
