Position Overview: We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as a Mechanic. We are open to short term employment of 6 months also
Responsibilities:
Primary
- Vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and tools.
- Basic Maintenance items include: Minor Service/ logbook service, Pre purchase inspection, oil changes, brake servicing, suspension work, tyre changing (fit & balancing), general replacements (alternator, radiator, AC compressor, light), engine work (including gaskets and engine swaps), transmission work
Secondary
- Assist in customer service duties such as greeting clients and providing assistance as required.
- Maintain the shop clean to be organised, and safe at all times.
- Assist with ordering as necessary.
Requirements:
- Cert 3 or hands on experience is required, we can gather decide if your expeirence is enough via a phone call or chat log
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver's license
- Need to open the shop in the mornings
