As Assistant Coordinator, you'll work alongside an experienced Coordinator to lead a dynamic team, support service operations, and help deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key leader within the service, you will:
- Support the day-to-day management of the OSHC service
- Mentor, motivate, and guide a team of educators
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for children, families, and staff
- Assist with rostering, administration, and compliance requirements
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging play-based programs
- Build strong relationships with children, families, the school community, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
Job Requirements:
- Diploma qualification (or higher) relevant to children's services
- Current Queensland Blue Card
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Demonstrated experience working within an OSHC, childcare, or education setting
- Leadership experience or a strong desire to move into a leadership role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and National Regulations (or willingness to further develop knowledge)
- A genuine passion for creating positive outcomes for school-aged children
