We are seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our team at Slade Pharmacy North Sydney.
This opportunity is well suited to individuals from retail, hospitality, supermarkets, health and beauty, or other fast-paced customer-facing environments who enjoy helping people and delivering exceptional service. While based within a hospital pharmacy, this is primarily a customer service and retail operations role. No pharmacy or healthcare experience is required. We'll provide comprehensive training and support to help you build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you are a versatile member of our team, with responsibilities spanning customer service, medication handling, inventory management, and administrative support. Whether you're assisting patients at the counter, managing stock, processing transactions, or supporting pharmacy operations, your contribution will directly impact the patient experience and the efficiency of the pharmacy.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support pharmacy operations under the guidance of pharmacists.
- Process prescriptions and handle transactions at the point of sale
- Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and shelving medications
- Provide basic health advice and respond to customer queries within your scope
- Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
About You
You possess strong customer service experience gained in retail, hospitality, supermarkets, health and beauty, or other customer-facing environments. You're reliable, professional, enjoy helping people, and are looking for a stable long-term career opportunity.
No pharmacy or healthcare experience is required! We'll provide the training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Essential requirements:
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from the date of employment.
- Experience in a customer-facing retail, hospitality or service environment.
- Demonstrated commitment and reliability through stable employment history.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Retail pharmacy experience
- Experience managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving and taking inventory.
