About the Role
We are seeking a customer service minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner with service and program leaders across Gowrie Victoria to provide insightful financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help managers understand financial performance, identify opportunities and risks, and make informed decisions that support organisational outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys building relationships, translating data into meaningful insights, and contributing to continuous improvement in a purpose-driven organisation.
This is a permanent, full time role working on a hybrid basis in a positive and collaborative team. You’ll be based at our Docklands service at least 2 days per week to connect with the Finance team, as well as your key stakeholders.
About You
You are an experienced finance professional with strong management accounting and business partnering experience. You combine excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and practical way for non-finance stakeholders. You are proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems and improve business outcomes. You will hold a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline, and may hold CPA or CA qualifications (or be working towards them). You’re motivated by working in an organisation that makes a positive difference in the community, ideally with experience in a not-for-profit, education, community services or government-funded environment.
Are you ready to nurture your career at Gowrie Victoria?
