About The Role:
As a Kitchen Hand you are essential to supporting the successful operation of the kitchen on a daily basis. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Support chefs during service by providing ingredients and maintaining an organised kitchen.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment, ensuring a clean and hygienic work area.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment and storage areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, restocking supplies and maintaining general kitchen cleanliness and organisation.
About YOU:
To be successful in this role, ideally you would have:
- Be reliable and have flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, nights and public holidays
- Some kitchen experience would be preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Keen to learn with a great attitude!
