About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) delivers specialist mental health, alcohol and other drug services to more than 250,000 residents across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana.
Rockhampton serves as the main hub, providing administration of the Mental Health Act 2016 and acute adult inpatient care, while Gladstone is home to an Adult Step-Up Step-Down facility and Rockhampton also hosts an Adult Community Care Unit.
About the role:
Provide high-quality administrative and business support to a multidisciplinary Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs team, ensuring the efficient and confidential delivery of clinical services.
Coordinate daily administrative operations, including managing correspondence, calendars, phone enquiries, meeting agendas, minutes, reports, recruitment, onboarding, and general office functions.
Prioritise and manage competing workloads independently, adapting to changing priorities and meeting organisational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with consumers and staff across all levels, building positive relationships while providing professional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
About you:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide professional, compassionate service and communicate clearly with consumers and staff.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities, completing routine tasks efficiently while confidently taking on more complex responsibilities.
Demonstrated commitment to quality frontline support, delivering confidential, efficient administrative services that contribute to effective mental health and alcohol and other drugs care.
Ability to respond appropriately in a clinical environment, including identifying and escalating consumers of concern in line with procedures while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,382 p.m. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $39.98 - $44.46 p.h.
