KT Education Centres is a tutoring centre in St Albans and we are looking for an Administrator looking for specialised in the following:
This is a permanent part-time position working 10 hours per week at our St. Albans centres on Saturdays and the view for more if the candidate can travel to our other campuses. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves working with students, is confident tutoring across a wide range of year levels, and is equally at home managing the day-to-day administrative needs of a busy education centre.
Teaching Main Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group tutoring in Maths and English
- Mark student homework and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and learning milestones
Administration Main Responsibilities
- Customer Service including reception, phone, and email enquiries
- Coordinate student enrolments, progress and attendance records
- Assist with scheduling and staff rostering
- Liaise professionally with students, parents, tutors, and management
- Prepare communications, and general correspondence as required
Criteria for candidate:
- Is available on Saturdays
- Organised, meticulous with high attention to detail and fluent in English
- Excellent customer service skills in a role dealing with people face to face
- Good Organisational skills
- Enjoys working with kids
- Knowledgeable in at least P-10 Maths and/or English skills
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in Education, Maths, English, or Science
- Current Working with Children Check (WWC) (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and/or Google Workspace
- Warm, professional communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Experience in this exact role is not necessary as you will be trained.
