This role is responsible for managing key administrative functions, coordinating meetings and committees, preparing business documentation, and supporting operational priorities across the portfolio. What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the COO.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take accurate minutes, and track actions to completion.
- Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, briefing papers, business cases, submissions and operational documentation.
- Coordinate funding documentation, correspondence and records management activities.
- Monitor and follow up on key operational actions, deliverables and deadlines.
- Maintain confidential records and information with discretion and professionalism.
- Build effective working relationships across the organisation to support collaboration and operational outcomes.
About You:
Essential
- Working with Children Blue Card
- National Police Record Check
- Proof of Identity Check (points of identification and working rights)
- Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative or operational support to senior leaders.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing agendas, minutes, reports and submissions.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using business systems and technology.
- Availability to provide support for occasional after-hours and weekend meetings is essential.
