As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Support Services Manager to lead our corporate support functions and ensure our workplaces remain efficient, professional, and connected.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Corporate Services, the Support Services Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of EPEC's corporate support functions.
This role oversees office and facilities management, business administration systems, internal communications support, vendor relationships, and business support services. The successful candidate will lead a team while ensuring EPEC's offices operate efficiently and provide a positive employee and visitor experience.
You will play a key role in supporting organizational growth, driving administrative excellence, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Office & Facilities Management
- Lead day-to-day office operations and facilities management.
- Manage office leases, vendor relationships, fit-outs, and workplace services.
- Oversee reception and front-of-house functions.
- Ensure office environments are professional, safe, and aligned with EPEC's culture.
Business Support Services
- Develop and improve administrative systems and business processes.
- Support leadership teams with corporate administration activities.
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Drive operational efficiency across business support functions.
Internal Communications & Change Support
- Coordinate company-wide communications and staff engagement activities.
- Support organisational change initiatives through effective communication.
- Coordinate town halls, employee events, and business updates.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage support service vendors and contract renewals.
- Coordinate procurement activities and supplier performance reviews.
- Deliver cost-effective purchasing outcomes and supplier partnerships.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop support services and administration staff.
- Foster a customer-focused and collaborative team culture.
- Manage performance, development planning, and team engagement.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Support business growth through scalable systems and operational excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Essential Experience
- Experience managing office operations, facilities, or corporate support functions.
- Strong business administration and operational management experience.
- Demonstrated people leadership and team management capability.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
Highly Regarded
- Experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, or project-based industries.
- Experience managing office relocations or fit-out projects.
- Exposure to internal communications and change management activities.
- Experience coordinating outsourced or offshore administrative services.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, Communications, or a related discipline.
