We’re looking for a Supervisor to join the crew at Spanian’s Kebabs.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll still be taking orders, making kebabs, working the grill, serving customers and getting stuck in with the rest of the team — but you’ll also be the person helping make sure the truck runs properly.
It’s a small team and a small space, so we need someone who can lead without standing on the sidelines.
The Role
Along with working across FOH and BOH, you’ll be responsible for things like:
- Running shifts and keeping things moving when it gets busy
- Supporting and leading the crew on shift
- Putting together weekly rosters
- Ordering stock and keeping an eye on stock levels
- Making sure we’re prepped and ready for service
- Keeping on top of food quality and consistency
- Making sure the truck stays clean, organised and well stocked
- Training and helping new team members
- Sorting out the little problems that come up during a shift
- Keeping an eye on wastage and making sure we’re not burning through stock unnecessarily
- Making sure opening and closing jobs actually get done
Who Are You!
We need someone who’s reliable, switched on and comfortable taking responsibility.
You don’t need to be some big corporate manager. We want someone who can lead a small crew, have a laugh with everyone and still make sure the job gets done properly.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in hospitality, takeaway or a busy food environment
- Previous supervisor or team leader experience
- Confidence running a shift and making decisions
- Experience with rosters and managing staff availability
- An understanding of stock ordering and stock control
- Good organisation and communication
- The ability to stay calm when there’s a queue and orders are flying in
- A good attitude and no problem getting your hands dirty
Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership.
If something needs doing, you notice it. If the team needs help, you jump in. If stock is getting low, you’re already onto it.
