In this role, you'll:
Lead the strategic management and governance of a diverse portfolio of complex assets, systems, services and scheme-based contracts, ensuring delivery of safe, reliable and customer-focused outcomes. Within NSW Motorways asset class strategies and rapidly evolving use of technology, you’ll drive service delivery excellence and proactive lifecycle investment, setting market benchmarks from roadside assets to customer experience whilst ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and whole-of-government objectives.
You’ll oversee complex commercial negotiations, contract variations and dispute resolution, working closely with internal partners and suppliers to secure value for money and manage risk. You’ll embed robust governance and assurance frameworks, including performance monitoring, compliance oversight and risk controls to strengthen transparency and accountability.
Through strong stakeholder and market engagement, you’ll influence investments and drive evolution to As A Service partnerships to improve performance across the portfolio. You’ll also lead supplier relationship management practices and commercial model development, building a high-performing team, commercial capability and ensure consistency across service delivery.

About you
You’re an experienced commercial leader with a strong background managing complex, high-value contracts in a large or regulated environment. You bring deep knowledge of contract law, procurement frameworks and governance requirements.
You have a proven ability to lead negotiations, manage risk and deliver strong commercial outcomes, while maintaining balanced and effective supplier relationships. You’re analytically strong, with experience implementing performance frameworks and assurance processes that support informed decision-making.
You’re a confident leader who can influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex environments with competing priorities. With a focus on continuous improvement and capability uplift, you bring the leadership skills to develop teams and drive excellence in contract management.
