Your Opportunity:
In this role, you will:
Assist in the maintenance, repair, and construction of railway tracks
Work as part of a team to ensure rail infrastructure is safe and operational
Operate tools and machinery required for track maintenance
Follow safety procedures and work in compliance with industry regulations
Work in various outdoor environments across different locations

This Role Will Be Ideal for People Who
Enjoy hands-on, physical work in an outdoor environment
Are team players who can work collaboratively with others
Have a strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Are reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills
Have previous experience in rail / civil construction, or similar labour-intensive industries (preferred but not essential)
MR / HR truck license is desirable

Hours and Salary: Please consider carefully before applying
The team travel & work throughout the entire Queensland Rail Network at sites in SEQ and Regional areas across the State, as such there will be a requirement to work away from our Brisbane Depot at Eagle Farm roughly 50% of the time.
When working in SEQ & Regionally you can expect a 10 on 4 off roster, usually Monday to the following Wednesday (dependent on track closures) you are expected to work regular weekends, on average every second weekend, with night shifts required time to time - Penalty rates apply for all extras.
