THE ROLE
YMCA South Australia is seeking an experienced Children’s Services Administration Manager to play a critical leadership role supporting the effective delivery of our Early Learning and Outside School Hours Care services across the state.
Reporting to the Head of Children’s Services, this role is responsible for overseeing funding administration, compliance, and key administrative systems that support families, services, and teams. With a balance of leadership, technical expertise and continuous improvement, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to services that positively impact children, families and communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead funding administration and compliance across CCS, ISS, ACCS and Skills SA
- Ensure accurate family accounts, invoicing, payments and subsidy reconciliation
- Manage and optimise childcare management systems (including Xplor)
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to the Children’s Services administration and customer service team
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have:
- Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Thorough knowledge of the Family Assistance Law, Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and related government funding programs (e.g., Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS), Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) etc
- Demonstrated experience working with childcare management systems, such as Xplor, Kidsoft or similar platforms
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience in children's services administration (Desirable)
- Qualifications in Training and Assessment, Project Management, or related areas (Desirable)
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field (Desirable)
