Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role is responsible for managing activity across the full employee lifecycle, providing both strategic and operational HR support across employee relations, HR systems, WHS, office management, payroll, and the reporting and analysis of key people metrics.

What you’ll do
- Lead, coach and develop the People Partnering and Operations team to deliver reliable, service-focused support across the business
- Provide senior-level advice on complex employee relations, performance, conduct, change and workforce matters
- Lead the delivery of core cyclical people activities, including the annual performance cycle, remuneration review, salary survey, annual compliance training and WGEA reporting
- Enhance people reporting and insights to support workforce planning, engagement, resourcing and business decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements across employee lifecycle activities, systems and service delivery
- Participate in workforce planning activities and partner with leaders to build manager capability, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Culture & Capability
- Support implementation of strategic people initiatives in partnership with the Chief People Officer and Senior Manager, Culture & Capability
- Oversee HR administration and people operations across onboarding, induction, employment changes, cross-boarding and offboarding
- Oversee payroll operations, administration, WHS, and related workplace wellbeing processes
- Oversee Sydney office operations and facilities matters, including reception coverage, building management, and workplace projects impacting NGS premises as required, including hotdesking, refurbishments, lease renewals and office moves.
About you
You’re a Senior HR Business Partner or People & Culture Manager, equally comfortable leading a team as you are on the tools. You build strong relationships, provide pragmatic advice, and lead teams to deliver consistent, high-quality support.
You’ll bring:
- Significant experience in HR business partnering (typically 8+ years)
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience improving processes and delivering outcomes through data, systems, or AI automation
- Tertiary qualifications in HR
Nice to have but not essential:
- Knowledge of the superannuation industry and regulatory environment and how it may impact on people policies and processes.
If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.
We are a super fund that has an exceptional work culture, provides a diverse offering in developing our people and you can be a part of it while earning an attractive remuneration package!
Interested and suitably qualified candidates should submit a copy of their updated CV.
