Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Casual Gardener to join our team based in Onkaparinga Hills. This is an ongoing casual position offering up to 24 hours per week, making it ideal for someone looking for stable, flexible outdoor work.
We pride ourselves on flexibility and are happy to work with the right candidate to determine which days of the week suit your schedule best.
While our home base is in Onkaparinga Hills, we service a mix of residential, rural, and commercial properties. Because of our commercial contracts, we occasionally travel to job sites north of the city. You do not need to supply your own gear—all tools, machinery, commercial equipment, and safety gear are fully provided.
Please Note: Safety is our highest priority, especially when operating commercial machinery. We maintain a strict drug and alcohol-free workplace, and the successful candidate may be subject to testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- General garden maintenance including weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Lawn care, including commercial mowing and edge trimming.
- Pruning, hedging, and clearing green waste.
- Block maintenance and slashing across various properties.
- Clearing pathways, blowing leaves, and maintaining overall site cleanliness.
- Tackling various odd jobs as required to keep properties looking their best.
- Travelling to various job sites (including the occasional trips north of Adelaide) as required.
- Operating and maintaining provided machinery safely and correctly.
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience in general gardening, landscaping and slashing of large areas.
- Experience operating commercial mowing or slashing equipment is highly regarded.
- Experience in pruning and hedging also highly regarded. Not essential
- A strong autonomous work ethic with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality.
- High attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Physical fitness and capability to perform outdoor manual labour in various weather conditions.
- A valid Australian driver’s license and reliable transport.

Pay: $32.18 – $37.98 per hour
