- RESPONSIBILITIES :-
- detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts
- dismantle and remove engines, systems and other components, and checking parts
- repair and replace worn and defective parts
- perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups
- reassemble engines and parts after being repaired
- rest and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers
- inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates.
- preparing cost and time estimates for work done
- repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts
- performing test drives to check repairs
- carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance
- updating vehicle service records
- installing and fitting new vehicle accessories
- maintaining a database of spare parts in the repair garage
Pay: $76,000.00 – $81,000.00 per year

- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)
