We’re looking for a Junior Clinic Reception & Operations Assistant who is passionate about the beauty industry and wants to grow their career in a professional clinic environment.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone starting in the industry who wants exposure to clinic operations, client care, and treatment support.

This is not a desk-only reception role.
You will be actively involved in daily clinic operations — supporting therapists, preparing treatment rooms, assisting with services, managing bookings, and helping the clinic run smoothly.
You will be on your feet for most of your shift and must enjoy a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position with longer shifts, including late nights and Saturdays. You must be available open-to-close on rostered days.
Your Role (Day-to-Day Responsibilities) Clinic Operations (Core Focus)
- Manage and support the clinic booking system (confirmations, rescheduling, waitlists, diary optimisation)
- Coordinate smooth flow between clients, therapists and treatment rooms
- Prepare, flip and reset treatment rooms to high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front-of-house and shared spaces
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Assist with general day-to-day clinic operations
Client Experience & Reception
- Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone enquiries and assist with bookings
- Maintain accurate client records and notes
- Support client follow-ups, reminders and aftercare communication
Treatment & Clinical Support
You will be trained to perform or assist with selected services including:
- Lash lifts
- Spray tans
- Teeth whitening
- LED
- Lymphatic Massages
- Basic Facials
- EMS & Body Contouring (machine setup and client support)
Full training will be provided — we’re looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Sales & Product Support
- Recommend skincare and retail products to clients
- Support in-clinic promotions and offers
- Build confidence in client education and product knowledge
About You
- Passionate about starting a career in the beauty/skin industry
- Holds or completing a Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related field
- Naturally organised and proactive
- Enjoys being busy and working in a hands-on environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident using computers and booking systems
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Willing to learn, grow and take initiative
Requirements
- Training or completed a Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy (essential)
- Administration, Hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Availability for late nights (up to 8pm) and Saturdays
- Ability to travel between Ringwood & Alphington clinics
- Driver’s licence preferred
- Australian working rights
