Job Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the sales growth, business development, and marketing strategy of ConnexAI Australia. The role focuses on expanding market presence, increasing revenue, managing strategic client relationships, and promoting ConnexAI’s AI-powered customer engagement and contact centre solutions across the Australian market.
The position requires a highly skilled professional capable of developing and implementing commercial strategies, overseeing sales operations, analysing market trends, and coordinating marketing initiatives to support the company’s long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Establish performance goals, monitor progress, and ensure operational excellence.
- Drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Financial Stewardship
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure financial health, profitability, and sustainable growth.
- Present financial and operational performance reports to the Board.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with the Board, investors, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the company in public forums, industry events, and media.
- Foster trust and transparency with employees, customers, and communities.
Organisational Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion.
- Lead by example and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Sales Management
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with ConnexAI Australia’s business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within enterprise, government, and SME sectors.
- Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, pipeline management, and revenue planning activities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and pricing arrangements with customers.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Coordinate sales presentations, proposals, tenders, and client demonstrations.
- Manage customer retention and account growth strategies.
Marketing Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote ConnexAI’s products and services.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Oversee branding, digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Manage lead generation strategies across online and offline channels.
- Coordinate marketing communications, social media initiatives, and public relations activities.
- Evaluate campaign performance and prepare analytical reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align marketing initiatives with service offerings.
Strategic & Operational Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of overall business growth and expansion strategies.
- Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets.
- Supervise and support sales and marketing staff where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant Australian business regulations.
- Prepare regular management reports on sales performance, market conditions, and business development outcomes.
- Represent ConnexAI Australia at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
- Ensure alignment of business operations with organizational goals.
Skills
- Strong experience in B2B technology, SaaS, AI, contact centre, or customer engagement solutions preferred.
- Proven ability to develop business growth strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns and sales operations.
- Ability to analyse market trends and commercial performance data.
- High level organisational and leadership capabilities.
Pay: $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
