About the Role
Marmion Pharmacy is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a stable, weekday routine—no weekend or late night work required!
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Location: Marmion, WA
- Hours: 10:30am-6:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, empathetic, and professional service to our local community.
- S2/S3 Product Advice: Confidently assist customers with Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicines and therapeutic products, operating strictly within S2/S3 guidelines.
- Prescription Reception: Assist in the dispensary by receiving prescriptions and managing customer pickups.
- Retail & Stock Management: Help with unpacking orders, merchandising, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.
- Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently operate the cash register and handle transactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- S2/S3 Certificate: Essential. You must hold a valid Supply Schedule 2 and 3 Pharmacist Only Medicines qualification.
- Pharmacy Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in an Australian community pharmacy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer care.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work cohesively within a small team.
- Location: applicant must be residing in Western Australia with reliable transport
