Our Best Starts with You
At Advara HeartCare, we're united by one purpose—to improve Australia's heart health.
As Australia's largest privately owned cardiology provider, with more than 90 centres and over 100 cardiologists nationwide, we've spent more than 20 years delivering exceptional cardiovascular care. We're proud of our reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and outstanding patient experiences, and we're continuing to build something even better.
We know our success is driven by our people. That's why we're committed to creating a workplace where you feel supported, valued and empowered to thrive.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Cardiac CT Radiographer to join our dedicated team on a 12-month maximum-term maternity leave contract, commencing October 2026, in our purpose-built cardiac CT facility. While the role is ideally suited to a full-time appointment to support continuity of the service, we are also open to considering outstanding candidates seeking part-time arrangements, including job-share opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a specialised service, combining hands-on clinical work with responsibility for the day-to-day operational coordination of the CTCA capability.
In this role, you'll deliver high-quality cardiac CT imaging services while ensuring exceptional patient care, safety and comfort throughout every stage of the patient journey. You'll work closely with fellow Cardiac CT Radiographers, Registered Nurses, Cardiologists and Administration staff to ensure imaging services are delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with Advara HeartCare's high standards of clinical excellence.
A market-leading remuneration package, together with a supportive team environment and access to Australia's largest privately owned cardiology network, makes this an outstanding opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Cardiac CT Radiographer.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality Cardiac CT examinations, including CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA), Structural Heart CT studies and Calcium Score scans, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Analyse imaging studies, including post-processing, vessel tracking and image preparation, ensuring urgent findings are escalated promptly to reporting cardiologists.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the CTCA service, including coordinating consumable stock levels, replenishing clinical supplies and ensuring the department is well equipped for service delivery.
- Complete all required administrative tasks to support efficient patient workflows and timely reporting.
- Maintain CT imaging equipment and clinical areas to the highest standards, reporting equipment faults, hazards or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Collaborate with Administration teams to optimise appointment scheduling and maximise clinical capacity.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement by supporting and enhancing systems, workflows and clinical processes.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, quality standards and Advara HeartCare policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in cardiac CT imaging.
- Work both independently and collaboratively, communicating effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver outstanding patient-centred care.
About You
You'll be a patient-focused radiographer who enjoys working in a collaborative, specialist environment and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical care.
You'll also bring:
- Current registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current Western Australian Radiation Use Licence.
- Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is desirable but not essential training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- A commitment to continuing professional development and expanding your clinical expertise.
- A compassionate, professional and patient-centred approach to care.
- The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems and clinical practices.
