Printer Operator – Day Shift (7:00am – 3:00pm)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Printer Operator to join the production team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the commissioning and operation of a new printing machine while working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
About the Role As a Printer Operator, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup, commissioning, and operation of a new UV 8 Colour Offset Printer. As printing production requirements will vary, the role will also involve operating a moulder and supporting other production equipment to ensure efficient workflow across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the commissioning, installation, and setup of a new UV 8 Colour printing machine.
- Operate and monitor the offset printing press to ensure quality output and production targets are met.
- Perform machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance as required.
- Operate the moulder and assist with feeding and supporting other production machinery when printing demand is lower.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximise efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Previous offset printing experience is essential.
- Experience operating UV printing equipment highly regarded.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment quickly.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to work across multiple machines and production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
Multi-Skilled Production Environment This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day. While the printing press will be a primary responsibility, you will also support other production operations, including moulder operation and machine feeding activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks and transitioning between different production processes as required.
