A Senior Accountant manages a portfolio of business clients, prepares financial statements and tax returns, provides business and tax advisory services, and mentors junior accountants. The role works closely with managers and partners to help clients achieve their financial and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Provide tax planning and business advisory services.
- Review work completed by junior accountants.
- Manage client relationships and respond to client enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws and accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and business improvement strategies.
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
- Mentor and train graduate and intermediate accountants.
Pay: From $7,000.00 per month
