As a Registered Nurse - Child, Youth and Family Health, you'll play an important role in supporting children and families to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes. From delivering early intervention support to partnering with caregivers and health professionals, you'll help build confidence, resilience and healthy futures within the community.

Delivering holistic child, youth and family health care that supports healthy growth, development and wellbeing.
Building trusted relationships with families, providing education and guidance that strengthens health literacy and confidence.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to create and review care plans that achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
Contributing to quality improvement, safe practice and evidence-based care that continues to enhance community health services.

You're someone who combines clinical expertise with genuine care for children, youth and families. You enjoy working in partnership with families, helping them navigate challenges, celebrate progress and achieve positive health outcomes. Most importantly, you're passionate about making a lasting difference during the early years of life.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Postgraduate qualification in Child and Family Health.
Strong assessment, communication and relationship-building skills in a community or family-focused setting.
Ability to work collaboratively, apply evidence-based practice and contribute to safe, high-quality care.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have additional postgraduate study relevant to nursing practice and experience working across community-based child, youth and family health services.
Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to every family interaction, helping create healthier futures for children and communities.
