What your day could look like
As a Senior Psychologist, you'll be part of a team that supports people at pivotal moments- helping them recover, adapt and regain independence. You'll bring both expertise and heart to your work, making a tangible difference not just for patients, but for families and the wider community, all while enjoying the balance and connection that comes with regional living.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering thoughtful, evidence-informed care that supports recovery, resilience and quality of life for older adults
Building meaningful connections with patients, families and a multidisciplinary team to navigate complex journeys together
Shaping and improving how care is delivered by leading quality initiatives and contributing ideas that make services stronger
Growing others and yourself through mentoring, supervision and involvement in learning and service development
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who leads with compassion and acts with integrity. You bring calm confidence to complex situations and take pride in helping people move forward during challenging times. You value teamwork, but also trust your clinical judgment, and you're motivated by the chance to influence care beyond the individual- strengthening services, supporting colleagues and creating better outcomes for the community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
Strong clinical experience in rehabilitation, stroke or working with older adults
The ability to connect, communicate and collaborate with a wide range of people
A proactive mindset, with confidence to lead, adapt and contribute to service improvement
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in multidisciplinary health settings and/or additional training or a passion for advancing practice and mentoring others.
Most importantly, you're driven by purpose- bringing dignity, courage and innovation to your work while enjoying a role that offers connection, growth and a lifestyle that lets you thrive both professionally and personally.
