As an Occupational Therapist Level 1/2 within the Acute Mental Health Inpatient Service, you will deliver evidence-based assessment, and intervention for adults experiencing acute mental health challenges. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help consumers develop the skills, confidence and strategies needed to support recovery and successful transition back to the community.
This diverse role provides the opportunity to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, inpatient teams and community services, while applying your clinical expertise to deliver person-centred care. You will contribute to service excellence through effective care planning, clinical documentation and ongoing professional development.
You are a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about mental health and committed to helping people achieve meaningful recovery outcomes. You have strong clinical reasoning skills and experience delivering evidence-based interventions and discharge planning for adults.
You work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, building positive relationships with consumers, carers and community partners. Highly organised and adaptable, you can prioritise competing demands while maintaining a high standard of care. You hold recognised Occupational Therapy qualifications, registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
