Synergie is seeking a Forklift Labourer- Asbestos Waste Handling for an industry-leading waste management company located in St Marys. Full PPE for asbestos handling as well as training will be provided.
The important parts:
Shift: Day shift - Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay rate: $37.08 per hour
Start Date: Immediate start available - long-term opportunity!
Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle and segregate waste streams in line with strict safety regulations
- Assist with decontamination, packaging and storage of asbestos waste
- Manual handling duties including loading/unloading and waste processing
- General labouring tasks including sorting and maintaining site cleanliness
- Operate forklifts to move waste containers and bins as required
- Adhere to all WH&S procedures and site safety protocols
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate
- A strong work ethic and reliability - turning up consistently is essential
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Commitment to safety and following procedures
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 25kg unassisted
- Valid Forklift Licence (required)
