About the Role
As a Float Educator at Journey Banyo, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment across the centre. Supporting all age groups, you’ll bring consistency and flexibility to our rooms while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
This is a permanent part‑time role, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) , offering stability, variety, and opportunities to grow within a values‑driven organisation.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
Build caring, respectful relationships with children and families
Provide support across all rooms and age groups throughout the centre
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice
Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes
Uphold health, safety, and safeguarding practices at all times
About You
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Understanding of child development and play‑based learning
A positive, reliable, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage
