Your Next Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Casual Guest Experience Officer with Housekeeping duties to join our team at our Townsville Holidays site.
Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role as the welcoming face of the park, helping deliver exceptional guest and resident experiences through warm service, smooth reservations support, engaging activities, and friendly day-to-day assistance. As part of this varied role, you’ll also support housekeeping tasks to help keep our accommodation, amenities, and shared spaces clean, safe, and inviting.
Townsville Holidays offers a relaxed tropical getaway experience, with great facilities and easy access to North Queensland's attractions.

In this Role, You’ll
- Welcome guests warmly, provide information about the park, local area, amenities, and activities, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
- Convert walk-in bookings, promote other Ingenia Holidays destinations, upsell suitable products, follow reservation policies, and capture guest details accurately.
- Coordinate and deliver engaging holiday activities within budget, maintain a safe and tidy environment, and encourage guest participation.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, follow sales and service procedures, and work towards customer satisfaction goals such as Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Support caretaking duties as needed, including site cleanliness, after-hours guest assistance, and monitoring compliance with site rules.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, helping keep rooms, amenities, common areas, and guest spaces stocked, fresh, clean, and ready for memorable stays.
- Take pride in creating welcoming spaces that delight guests and residents, while contributing to a supportive, fun, and safety-focused team.
You’re Likely a Match If You
- You’re passionate about creating warm, memorable guest experiences through genuine customer service.
- You have experience in hospitality, tourism, accommodation, housekeeping, or a similar guest-focused environment, or you’re enthusiastic about building your skills.
- You’re confident using Microsoft Office and booking systems like Newbook, or you’re eager to learn and grow in a tech-enabled environment.
- You’re organised, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a fun, supportive team.
- You bring empathy, clear communication, strong attention to detail, and pride in keeping spaces clean, welcoming, and well presented.
- You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, stay active, and enjoy a varied role that combines front-of-house service with hands-on housekeeping support.
