Wotton Kearney | Sydney
Wotton Kearney is Australia and New Zealand's largest specialist insurance law firm. We're transforming how our lawyers work through the rollout of an enhanced case management platform, and we're looking for a Change Manager to drive adoption and embed new ways of working across the firm.
About the role
You'll own the end-to-end change program for our OSCAR platform rollout—from building excitement before launch through to sustained adoption. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape communications, mobilise lawyer champions, design training, and measure what matters.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute the change and communications strategy across pre-launch, rollout, and embedment phases
- Craft compelling change narratives that connect the "what" and "how" to "so what" is crystal clear for lawyers and support staff
- Build and coordinate a champion network across partners, lawyers, and support staff
- Design practical training programs and materials, including scripts, quick-reference guides, and GO1-based learning content
- Partner with practice groups to document ideal workflows and set clear expectations for system usage
- Track sentiment and adoption metrics, creating dashboards to monitor progress and identify intervention points
- Drive reinforcement mechanisms including gamification, KPI integration, and recognition programs
What you'll bring
- Proven experience leading change programs for system implementations, ideally in legal and/or professional services
- Strong communications skills—you can translate technical change into language that resonates with senior stakeholders and end users alike
- Experience designing and delivering training and roll out programs at scale
- Ability to influence without authority and build credibility with our lawyers and support staff
- Comfort with data—you'll measure adoption and use insights to adjust your approach
- Practical, delivery-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
It would be nice if you had...
- 5-10 years of working experience with digital solutions
- Experience in a law firm or similar partnership environment
- Demonstrable, substantial experience in rolling out digital solutions
- Change management credentials (Prosci, APMG, or similar) is a plus but not essential
