About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our Skygifts kiosk team at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre. The role involves selling toys, squishies, plush products, collectibles, gifts, and trending items while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shopping centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Promote and sell products including squishies, toys, plush items, collectibles, gifts, and seasonal products.
- Process cash, EFTPOS and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the kiosk is clean, tidy and well-presented at all times.
- Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels throughout the day.
- Assist with stock counts, deliveries and product pricing.
- Open and close the kiosk following company procedures.
- Meet daily sales targets and actively engage with passing customers.
- Follow Fountain Gate Shopping Centre policies and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Report any customer issues, incidents or stock shortages to management.
Skills and Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic and confident personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Comfortable standing for long periods in a retail environment.
- Basic computer and EFTPOS/POS system skills.

Pay: $24.95 – $44.14 per hour
Work Location: In person
