Flying Beam Group is looking for a reliable HR-licensed driver to join our team on a subcontractor basis, operating out of our Brooklyn depot. You'll be running a tray truck on regular routes from the yard to CBD Melbourne — consistent work with a clear start date coming up.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who wants steady subcontracting work with a growing recycling and logistics business.
Hours & Location
- Depot: Brooklyn, Melbourne
- Hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work as required)
- Start Date: Approximately 15 days from hire
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a tray truck on scheduled runs between Brooklyn yard and CBD Melbourne
- Loading and unloading freight — some manual lifting involved
- Completing pre-start vehicle checks
- Accurately completing job sheets and delivery documentation
- Maintaining a professional standard while representing our business at client sites
What You Need
- Current HR licence — no exceptions
- Clean driving record
- Physically capable of manual lifting as part of the role
- ABN or ACN preferred (for subcontractor arrangement) — not mandatory but advantageous
- Reliable and punctual — consistency is everything in this role
- Previous experience in recycling, waste, or general freight preferred but not essential
