Salary: $149,764 - $157,118 (pending experience) + 12.75% super

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy (AP:JC&P) to join the leadership team at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay.
This is a newly created leadership role at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay. The AP: Junior Curriculum and Pedagogy accepts responsibility for the long and short-term goals for pedagogy and practice, as well as the Junior Curriculum. Collaborating with a team of passionate educators, this role will lead initiatives that enhance teaching and learning in junior years (7 - 9).
The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith, participate in the life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.

Catherine McAuley College opened in 2022 to meet the growing demand for high-quality Catholic secondary education in the Mackay region. Commencing with its inaugural cohort of Year 7 students, the College has been strategically growing one year level at a time and will complete its full Years 7-12 profile by 2027.
