What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You hold current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrate comprehensive nursing knowledge, skills, and clinical competence within an acute hospital setting. You apply advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care, ensuring optimal outcomes in complex and dynamic healthcare environments.
You communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams through strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and information technology skills. Your ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care supports the delivery of evidence-based, outcome-focused healthcare within a collaborative team framework.
You possess a high level of clinical expertise in the perioperative environment, including the management of trauma patients, and consistently maintain professional standards while responding to rapidly changing clinical situations. You are committed to providing quality care across a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and participation in an on-call roster, demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and dedication to meeting the needs of patients and the healthcare service.
