We are seeking a fully qualified Motor Mechanic with a minimum of 1 years of experience to join our growing team in Truganina. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform accurate diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
2. Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
3. Repair and replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions.
4. Conduct test drives to confirm the quality and safety of completed repairs.
5. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
6. Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
7. Ensure the workshop remains clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
8. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III and certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent (mandatory).
- At least 1 years of hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid Australian driver’s license.
