Job Description
Wangaratta Private Hospital has an opportunity for Hotel Services Assistants to join our friendly and collaborative Patient Catering team on a casual basis.
This opportunity will see successful candidates play an important role in supporting a safe, clean and welcoming hospital environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across all areas of the hospital, in line with infection control guidelines, HACCP requirements and the Hospital Food Safety Plan.
About You:
-
Previous experience in a catering or housekeeping role desirable, but not essential.

Strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure
-
Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
-
Punctual, reliable and have a strong commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
-
Compliance with Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
-
Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
Key responsibilities include:

Provide excellent customer service
-
Maintaining food hygiene, safety practices and clean work areas
-
Delivering food and beverages to patients and staff
-
Cleaning hospital wards and departments to required standards

Managing your workload effectively while working productively within a supportive team
