Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician to join our growing community pharmacy team in Dandenong.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and progressive pharmacy.
You'll work closely with experienced pharmacists and team members to provide high-quality patient care while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing and prescription workflow
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist with general pharmacy enquiries
- Support customers with over-the-counter product selection and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all tasks
- Assist with stock management, ordering, merchandising, and inventory control
- Process sales and customer transactions efficiently using pharmacy software and POS systems
- Contribute to a well-organised, professional, and welcoming pharmacy environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient daily operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a community pharmacy
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Dispensary Technician, or similar role
- Experience with Webster packing and medication packing services is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
- A positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people
- Confidence using pharmacy dispensing systems and POS software
- Australian work rights
- A willingness to undertake further pharmacy-related training or qualifications if required
