F3 Sports Bar Manager

F3 is looking for an energetic and experienced Sports Bar Manager to take ownership of our sports offering, bar operations and sporting events.
We want someone who lives and breathes sport, understands what makes a great sports bar atmosphere, and can turn major sporting events into busy, memorable occasions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar and lead the bar team
- Manage and operate SportsPick, including venue competitions, tipping promotions and customer engagement
- Create and coordinate SportsPick competitions and promotions around key sporting events
- Promote SportsPick throughout the venue and encourage customer participation
- Operate and manage Foxtel in a commercial venue, including programming live sport across multiple screens
- Maintain an up-to-date calendar of major Australian and international sporting fixtures
- Create a weekly and monthly F3 Sports Calendar
- Plan and deliver sporting functions, viewing parties and special events
- Develop promotions around AFL, NRL, UFC, boxing, cricket, soccer, rugby, Formula 1 and other major sporting events
- Create atmosphere and activations around State of Origin, Grand Finals, finals, international matches and major tournaments
- Drive group bookings and functions around sporting events
- Build relationships with local sporting clubs, teams and organisations
- Develop ideas and promotions that increase bar sales, customer engagement and repeat visitation
- Manage staff, service standards, stock control and opening/closing procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous bar, pub or hospitality management experience
- Experience using and managing SportsPick
- Experience operating Foxtel in a commercial hospitality environment
- A genuine passion for sport and strong knowledge of major sporting competitions
- Strong bar and beverage knowledge
- Experience leading and motivating a hospitality team
- Confidence creating and running sporting events, promotions and functions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and forward-planning skills
- A commercial mindset with ideas for driving bookings, beverage sales and repeat business
- Availability to work nights, weekends and major sporting events

You'll take ownership of SportsPick, Foxtel, sporting promotions, functions and live-event activations and help make F3 a destination for sports fans.
