About the Role
As a Service Manager, you will provide strong, values-driven leadership across your portfolio, ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports for people with disability.
You’ll lead and mentor your team to create a safe, inclusive environment where individuals can build independence, confidence, and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing strategic leadership across your operations portfolio

Representing Northcott in key forums, networks and stakeholder engagement activities

Monitoring trends, risks and opportunities, and implementing appropriate strategies

Driving the achievement of operational plans and service outcomes
-
Overseeing day-to-day service delivery with a focus on sustainability and quality
-
Promoting a culture of resilience, reflection and continuous improvement
About You
You’re a capable and ethical leader who can inspire, engage, and empower teams to deliver outstanding support.
Working with geographically dispersed teams, including Service Coordinators and support staff, you’ll foster collaboration, innovation, and a culture where people feel valued.
You will bring:

Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams to high performance

A collaborative mindset and the confidence to encourage new ideas and innovative approaches

Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead with respect and courage

The ability to balance customer, team and organisational priorities

A solid understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support
-
Confidence using systems and technology (including rostering and administrative processes such as Niara)

Flexibility to travel and be present across service locations as required
