Position Details
- Permanent Full-Time
- Sunday to Thursday roster
- Based at Tobruk Memorial Pool
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting our Learn to Swim program with enrolments, bookings and customer enquiries
- Managing bookings for the Tobruk facility, including coordinating bookings for lane availability for the public, swim squads and groups such as Schools, Olympic Teams and local fundraising groups
- Liaising with Accounts to ensure that all bookings are invoiced correctly and within set timeframes
- Assisting with Merchandise orders and presentation
- Managing customer feedback professionally and ensuring timely resolution
- Assisting with events and general facility operations
- Working closely with the Facility Manager, Swim School Coordinator and Pool Operations Coordinator to ensure effective staffing and service delivery
- Maintaining high presentation standards throughout reception and customer areas
- Promoting Tobruk Memorial Pool and the Marlin Coast venues within the community
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering exceptional customer service every day.
You'll also have:
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience using booking systems and business software
- A proactive, positive attitude with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while supporting a wider team
- Knowledge of the Aquatics industry in particular Learn to Swim
- A minimum of two years' experience in hospitality, tourism, leisure, aquatics or a similar customer service environment
Essential Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current RSA
- Food Safety Certificate
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
