About the Role:
Join our headspace team as a Clinical Lead, providing leadership, clinical expertise and support to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health care to young people aged 12–25 years.
This senior role combines clinical leadership with direct client work, overseeing the coordination and delivery of clinical services while maintaining a clinical caseload. Reporting to the Centre Lead, you will guide day-to-day clinical operations, provide supervision and clinical support, monitor referrals and service demand, and champion evidence-based, youth-friendly and person-centred practice.
Working collaboratively across disciplines, you will help drive service innovation, strengthen clinical capability and build strong partnerships with schools, health services and community organisations to ensure integrated care pathways for young people.

headspace is Australia's leading youth mental health service, providing accessible and inclusive support for young people aged 12–25 years. Through a multidisciplinary team, headspace delivers early intervention services across mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and work and study support.
Our centres offer a welcoming, youth-friendly environment where young people can access coordinated care tailored to their individual needs. By working closely with families, schools, health providers and community partners, we help young people access the right support at the right time to improve wellbeing, recovery and participation in everyday life.
Experience Requirements:
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in health, mental health, or community services.
Experience implementing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices for children and families.
Experience engaging stakeholders and building partnerships with diverse communities and organisations.
Experience in service evaluation and driving continuous improvement using data and feedback.
Experience supporting workforce wellbeing and professional development in inclusive, high-performing teams.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
Applicants must hold a qualification in one of the following:
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
