Car Hire Assistant (Casual)
Location: Tullamarine, VIC
Hours: Casual, flexible shifts (including weekends)
We’re looking for a reliable and switched-on Car Hire Assistant to join our growing car-hire team based in Tullamarine. All bookings are managed through the Turo platform, and you’ll be a key part of ensuring our vehicles and guests are looked after to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning vehicles to a high standard (interior & exterior)
- Handing cars over to guests and completing check-ins & check-outs
- Communicating with guests via the Turo app, work phone, and computer
- Delivering vehicles to Melbourne Airport and providing a shuttle service
- Completing premium deliveries to specific guest locations
- Completing a daily return log accurately
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
- Communicating with the team via a WhatsApp group chat
- Assisting with our on-site car wash business when required
Communication Is Key
You’ll be dealing directly with customers, so:
- Strong English (spoken and written) is essential
- Confident, friendly, and professional communication is a must
- Comfortable answering calls and responding to messages promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, responsible, and well-presented
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using apps and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience is not required, but is a bonus
