About the Role
LBH Projects is seeking an Blaster Painter to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will carry out surface preparation and protective coating application on a variety of marine, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation using various media and techniques (e.g., garnet, sponge jet, UHP water blasting).
- Apply industrial coatings such as epoxy, polyurethane, zinc, and other systems using airless and conventional spray equipment.
- Follow detailed paint specifications and quality standards as per client and project requirements.
- Carry out basic maintenance of blasting and painting equipment.
- Work from heights, scaffolding, and confined spaces, adhering strictly to safety procedures.
- Complete pre-starts, job hazard analysis, and relevant paperwork daily.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in industrial or marine blasting and painting.
- Knowledge of coating systems and surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and data sheets.
- High regard for workplace health and safety practices.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (preferred).
- VOCs or certifications in abrasive blasting and industrial spray painting (desirable).

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
