Be part of the Granville Assertive Response Team (GART) within Western Sydney Local Health District, delivering impactful, community-based mental health care. This innovative service supports people with complex and persistent mental illness to live well in the community.

What you'll be doing
In this rewarding role, you will deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented care to consumers in the community, helping improve independence and wellbeing.
Provide mental health assessments, treatment and assertive outreach support
Develop and implement individualised care plans with consumers and carers
Build strong partnerships with families, NGOs and health providers
Advocate for consumers and support access to services and resources
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical reviews and team development

Essential Criteria
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse
Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Current NSW Driver’s License.
