The Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will oversee a national team of 11 Territory Managers, transitioning the sales function toward a high-performance, performance-led model.

This role is ideally based in Melbourne; however, we are open to considering exceptional candidates based in Queensland & New South Wales to support our growth objectives in those regions.
What You Will Do:
- Leadership & Culture: Mentor a national team, fostering a culture of professional accountability, high energy, and consistent marketplace success.
- Strategic Growth: Develop a robust business development pipeline to secure new partnerships while deepening relationships with primary Independent and MSO accounts.
- Sales Transformation: Transition the field force toward a proactive sales mentality, utilising data-driven insights and incentive structures to drive outcomes.
- Commercial Oversight: Manage the national sales budget, protect gross margins, and work with the team to win and retain business.
- Operational Integration: Partner with Branch Managers to ensure our national sales strategy is seamlessly supported by our logistics and operational excellence.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Lyppard at key industry conferences and lead senior-level presentations for strategic partners and stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For:
- Demonstrated Leadership: Proven expertise in leading direct sales teams, ideally within the Veterinary, Pharmaceutical, or related healthcare sectors.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate complex sales analytics into actionable field strategies and territory plans.
- Exceptional Influencer: A sophisticated communicator capable of navigating complex reporting lines and building high-trust partnerships.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong experience in budget management, incentive structures, and value-based selling within a wholesale environment.
